The Finland Motogp takes place at the KymiRing, a motor racing circuit 110km north-east of the capital, Helsinki.
The race took a 39-year break, before being scheduled to take place in 2021. However, Covid-19 concerns saw the cancellation of the race, with 2022 to mark the first running of the new and improved Finland MotoGP.
The KymiRing circuit is 4.5km long, with 8 left corners and 13 right corners. Its longest straight is 1100m, offering plenty of spectacular opportunities for overtaking. The circuit is easy to access, a short two hour trip by car, train or bus – all reliable public transport. KymiRing’s nearest cities are Lahti and Kouvola.
